Onrus Vermont Special Rating Area (OVSRA)
Ratepayer-funded civic body boosting safety and services for Onrus and Vermont
OVSRA is a non-profit company, incorporated in April 2021 and mandated with the betterment of Ward 13 (Onrus River, Vermont, Chanteclair and Berghof). It works alongside the Overstrand Municipality to fund supplementary public-safety technology — a CCTV camera network feeding a 24/7 monitoring centre — and a contracted security patrol service, provided via Fidelity ADT since February 2022.
