1. Who we are and what we sell

Everything Hermanus (www.everythinghermanus.co.za) is a local business directory for Hermanus, Sandbaai, Onrus, Vermont, Hawston, Fisherhaven and the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. These terms apply when you buy a paid package from us: a Shark or Whale business listing, or an estate agent profile. Creating a profile, posting a classified and a Free listing cost nothing and involve no payment.

2. Prices and payment

Current package prices, and any launch discount that applies, are shown on our List your business page. All prices are in South African rand (ZAR). The price you pay is the price shown when you started your sign-up, even if you complete payment later and a discount has since changed.

Packages are prepaid for a fixed term of either one month or six months. Payment is made online by card or instant EFT through PayFast, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to PayFast; we never see or store them.

3. Delivery of the service

We sell a digital, online service. Nothing is shipped. Once your payment is confirmed, your listing or agent profile is activated on the website and app, after a quick check by our team that the details are suitable to publish. We aim to do this as soon as possible, and usually within one business day. You will receive an email confirming your payment.

Your term starts on the day your payment is confirmed. Package features are as described on the List your business page at the time you buy.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by emailing us or messaging us on WhatsApp. Packages do not renew automatically and we do not store your card, so nothing further is charged after your paid term. When the term ends, your listing moves to the Free listing level unless you choose to pay for another term.

If you cancel part-way through a term, your listing stays live at its paid level until the end of the term already paid for, subject to section 5.

5. Refunds

If you change your mind, ask us for a refund within 7 days of your payment and we will refund the full amount. Email us or message us on WhatsApp with the business name and the email address used to pay.

After 7 days, payments for a term that has already started are not refundable. The exceptions are a duplicate or incorrect charge, or a listing we are unable to publish, for which we will refund you in full.

Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method through PayFast, and can take several business days to reach your account.

6. Your listing

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, and for having the right to use any photos and text you upload. We may edit, decline or remove content that is inaccurate, unlawful, misleading or offensive, and we may remove a listing that breaks these terms. If we remove a paid listing for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of your term.

7. Our responsibility

We work to keep the directory available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or any particular number of visitors, enquiries or sales. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the package in question. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

8. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the "Last updated" date above when we do. A change does not affect a term you have already paid for. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
