Blanket blessing for Hawston elders

Members of Pearly Shells Service Centre in Hawston received 30 warm blankets from the Hawston Sea Farm Foundation, bringing comfort to elderly residents through a meaningful community outreach initiative.
The foundation, established more than two decades ago, continues supporting local upliftment despite its original abalone farming plans not materialising. Blankets were also shared with other elders in the community, reinforcing a spirit of care, dignity and solidarity in the small fishing community of Hawston, where community support makes a difference.
