Wine Village is a specialist South African wine retailer at the entrance to the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, letting visitors sample and buy from nearly 800 South African wine producers — around 5,000 labels — plus gins and brandies, under one roof rather than touring individual farms. Every wine passes an in-house staff tasting panel before it's stocked, and the shop offers complimentary daily tastings for individuals and groups, gift vouchers, and fully insured worldwide shipping, from a single bottle to container loads.

Founded in 1998 by Paul and Cathy du Toit, ownership passed in June 2022 to Jean-Pierre Rossouw, a wine-industry veteran and former publisher of the Platter's South African Wine Guide.
