Vokkies Biltong is a father-and-son biltong business — started by Jacques and Wedrich Wessels, whose first shop opened in May 2025 — built around geelvet (yellow-fat) beef biltong from grass-fed cattle, sold as whole "Makoeloe" sticks, fatty bites and chips. The range also runs to droëwors, salami, biltong powder, spice blends, house-made jams and honey, rusks, and wooden steak boards. It's one of a small chain of branch shops across the Western Cape, with a full online shop and an agent/reseller programme for bulk orders.
