The Rock is a long-running seafood and sushi restaurant set on the cliff above Hermanus's New Harbour, open since 1997. It serves a daily-changing blackboard menu of fresh seafood and grill dishes plus sushi, paired with local wines, with near-daily whale sightings from the dining room between June and November. It shares its New Harbour site with sister venue The Gecko, and offers private function hire for 30–120 guests.
