Quayside Cabin is a seafood restaurant built into a repurposed shipping container at the lower slipway of Hermanus's New Harbour, open since 2003 and under the ownership of Herman van Tonder since 2022. It specialises in sustainably sourced fish, prawns and calamari, with generous shared seafood platters — up to 1.4m, serving six — against a backdrop of working fishing boats. Fully licensed, and available for private functions of up to 65 guests.
