PROactive Fitness is a full-service gym at the Hermanus Sports Club, founded in 2009 by Mathew Browne and moved into its current purpose-built facility in 2021. Offers personal training, biokinetics (3 biokineticists, 9 personal trainers), 40+ classes a week, cardio and weight-training floors, a dance studio, and South Africa's only RealRyder indoor cycling studio. Amenities include a hair salon, tanning studio, a Fit Café and — since February 2025 — a Finnish-import hot rock sauna included for members. Discovery Vitality-affiliated and wheelchair accessible.
