Local Life is a free monthly magazine (print and digital) dedicated to positive community stories and events across the Overstrand/Whale Coast area. Led by editor and photojournalist Taylum Meyer alongside photojournalist Barbara Hayn, the publication covers nature and conservation, food and wine, schools and sport, wellbeing, arts, charities, and local businesses and people.
Local Life was a finalist for Best Start Up at the 2024 Hermanus Business Chamber Service Excellence Awards.
