Lizette's Kitchen serves a contemporary, Asian-influenced take on world-fusion cuisine, designed for sharing banquet-style — Super Green Rolls, Bun Cha, Tom Yum, dim sum, spring rolls, mussels, line fish, fish & chips, burgers and dessert. It's set in a Grade 3B heritage farmhouse dating to before 1900, which has been a farmhouse, staging post, doctor's surgery, holiday home, art gallery and tea room over the years before its restoration into a restaurant and bar blending the old architecture with a modern fit-out.
A 150m stoep faces west for mountain views and sunsets, the wine list draws on the nearby Hemel-en-Aarde valley, there's craft beer, gin and a custom-roasted house coffee blend, plus a kids' play area, onsite parking and private function space.
