Hermanus New Harbour
Working fishing harbour and the western start of the Cliff Path
Hermanus New Harbour lies west of the town centre, near Zwelihle and the western end of Westcliff Road. Built in the 1940s to replace the original "Old Harbour" (once known as Visbaai) as the town’s working fishing harbour, it remains an active launch site for local fishing boats and whale-watching vessels, and marks one end of the 12km Hermanus Cliff Path.
