Fisherman's Cottage
Hermanus's oldest seafood restaurant, in a historic 1870s harbourside cottage
Closed Opens today at 17:00
Fisherman's Cottage bills itself as the oldest seafood restaurant in Hermanus, housed in a cottage built in the late 1800s and converted into a restaurant in 1991, by the old harbour. The kitchen is led by Michael Broughton, previously of Stellenbosch restaurant Terroir, emphasising simple, quality-driven cooking with foraged and locally sourced seafood. The venue also hosts regular live-music evenings.
