Charmaine De Jongh Gelderblom is a South African impressionist painter, born in Rustenburg, who has lived and worked in the Onrus/Hermanus area since 2010. She is known for energetic, bold brushwork applied to florals, old-harbour fishing-boat scenes, seascapes, still lifes and figure studies in oil, and her paintings have been collected locally and internationally for around 25 years. She runs her own eponymous gallery in central Hermanus, selling original work directly to visitors.
