Char'd Grill & Wine Bar is a steampunk-inspired steakhouse in Hermanus's Village Square on the waterfront, following a recent revamp that brought exposed pipework, leather booths and chandeliers to its industrial interior. Premium steaks are butchered and dry-aged in-house before being cooked over open flames, with the shareable Meat Appreciation Platter a signature centrepiece alongside burgers and other artisan cuts. A newly launched bespoke cocktail menu, crafted with premium spirits and house-made infusions, pairs with a curated list of boutique wines and craft spirits, including gin, brandy and tequila tastings.
